Walk Tall - Chocolate LabradorPrice: £150.00This is a Limited Edition Giclee Print on paper of just 20 Artist Proofs signed and numbered by the artist. "Like the “Contrasts” series, I originally produced the Walk Tall images for Artko and like Contrasts I felt that it would be prudent to publish a short run of these three works myself. Again, like Contrasts, there are just 20 Artist Proof copies available. The thing that makes these images a little different is that they were painted digitally – a technique I’m developing as part of my continued efforts toad variety to my work. It has become apparent that some people are a little unsure as to what exactly digital painting is. As a consequence I have added a page to my “Portraits” website on which I have tried to explain the process. If you are interested please copy and paste the link below. http://www.nigelhemmingportraits.co.uk/page46a.html I have followed the trend of my most recent contemporary works with these pieces by painting them black and white, however, this would have been tricky with a Chocolate Lab so in his case I’ve used a subtle degree of colour. Enough, but not so much as to make it jump out against the other two images. I think it works, I hope you do too".
